Declaration: APC Blasts Jonathan Again
The All Progressives Congress (APC) has again taken
a swipe at President Goodluck Jonathan, saying
Nigerians cannot wait to sweep away one of the
worst governments to have even presided over
their nation’s affairs.
This was contained in a statement issued in Abuja
on Sunday by the party’s National Publicity
Secretary, Alhaji Lai Mohammed, a copy obtained
by Vanguard. The Party described as a scorecard of
failure the claims of phantom achievements by the
Jonathan administration in its almost 60 months in
office.
Mohammed said the President failed to get the
usual bounce from such declarations because
Nigerians were not the least impressed by the so-
called achievements, which have not positively
impacted on the lives of the citizens, adding that
Nigerians have asked themselves a simple
question: Are we better off today than we were
before President Jonathan assumed office.
He alleged that Nigerians have unanimously
answered the above question in a negative manner
which is why the declaration of the President failed
to have effect despite the hired crowd transported
to Abuja.
